About us
We are Cultural and Creative Sector (CCS) professionals from Hungary and Malta with several years of experience in international projects and fundraising. We have witnessed first-hand the challenges cultural professionals face when trying to secure sustainable funding.
Through the “FABRIKA – Co-developing Tomorrow’s Skillscape” project, we aim to address critical fundraising skills gaps in the CCS and adapt vocational education and training (VET) programs to better match sector requirements.
As part of this effort, the FABRIKA platform makes creative funding easier to access. It brings together grant opportunities from more than 20 sources in one place and supports professionals with practical guides to help them apply with confidence.
Mission
Fundraising is not limited to writing strong applications. It also requires the ability to clearly present ideas, pitch projects to different audiences, communicate with confidence, and maintain sustainability by avoiding burnout and setting healthy boundaries. However, there is a clear lack of appropriate training that addresses fundraising in this holistic way. Our team is dedicated to filling this gap by providing practical, accessible guidance that goes beyond theory.
Our mission is to equip individuals and organisations in CCS navigating international fundraising with both the technical skills and the personal tools needed to fundraise effectively, confidently and sustainably in an international context.
